Finding a Cheap Seat

Posted on 15 October 2010

Have you ever hoped to catch your favorite musical artist or attend a live play or sporting event, only to find that you could not snag tickets to the event, even when you showed up at the box office?   Have you ever patronized scalpers, knowing that you were being ripped off, because you felt you had no other recourse to attending that special performance?

Unfortunately, I have.  That’s why I was thrilled to find an alternative that doesn’t involve mega-ticket brokers or steeply inflated prices.   A cheap seat is that alternative.  By offering premium seating to a broad range of sporting, concert, and live theatrical events, I kissed those long waits on the phone goodbye and gained access to events not offered to the general public, such as the Super Bowl and the Masters.  Imagine snagging coveted CMA Awards tickets, Boston Bruins tickets, or Caesar’s Palace tickets just with a quick trip to!

As a music buff, I checked out some upcoming concerts. On the roster, I found alternative artist Ani DiFranco, whom I’d seen once open for The Pogues, along with luminaries Aaron Neville and Alan Jackson.  I’m glad to have found a site that offers a comprehensive selection of artists!  Tickets for Neville at a lovely New York City winery were $120 each, while tickets for Alan Jackson at an Ohio venue were only $55 a piece!  If you want to plan your next big date or special anniversary, or just give yourself a present, visit

Concert tickets are not the only things available online, it is also possible for the consumer to purchase event tickets, theatre tickets, concert tickets, sports tickets…this list goes on.
