“I’ll see you later” is a phrase uttered millions of times daily throughout the United States. Implicit in the phrase is a confidence that all is well and that the speaker will actually be able to fulfill the promise of “seeing,” at a later time, the individual to whom the phrase is spoken.
Eight years ago, on September 11, 2001, thousands of individuals working at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, as well as the passengers of United Flight 93 were unable to keep their promises because of the actions of a small, but coordinated group of deranged individuals. I call them deranged, because they presumably believed that their actions were achieving the Will of God.
Recorded history is replete with acts of violence, murder, war, and oppression — all carried out in the name of the Almighty. Often times, both sides in a conflict considered that “God was on their side.” Attitudes like these beg the question, “Does God have a side?”
I recall that, on that fateful morning, as I viewed the television images of ashen survivors fleeing the site of the fallen towers and courageous public servants rushing toward them in a largely vain attempt to save the victims, I didn’t see Christians, Jews, Moslems, Hindus, or Buddhists — I saw only people, frightened and bewildered. And, although I do not presume to put myself in His (I use the pronoun His without reference to God’s gender) position, maybe that’s how God sees us.
While the memory of that day fades in the minds of many Americans who will give no or only passing thought to the significance of this date on the calendar, it burns vividly and continually in the hearts and minds of those who lost loved ones. And so, it is only fitting that each of us offer a prayer on their behalf:
May our Creator give peace to the souls of all the 9/11 victims, comfort to their bereaved families, and wisdom and insight into His Will to us all. Amen.

Good Article, Unfrtunately many people uttered the words, “See ou later” on that fateful day, not realizing it was the last day of their lives. 9-11 was a wake up call for America then and should be now. Americans have to consider if our wat of life is worth fighting for or depending on goverment to solve the problems. If the later is true, heaven help us in the name of God!
As someone born and raised in New York, I never forget 9/11. In fact, I think about it nearly every day. Unlilke the author of this article who saw “only people”, I tallied up the representatives of various ethnic groups who died on 9/11, when their names were read aloud during the first memorial service. I noted that the victims hailed from all religions and many ethnic groups, and that this is what America is made of; this is what made America strong.
If those who obliterated the Twin Towers hoped to destroy the spirit of America and particularly, the spirit of New York City with the destruction of those buildings, they fell far short of the mark.

The essence of the message of Lord Krishna to the human beings is Bhagavat Gita. Sage Vyasa wrote all the eighteen Puranaas and MahaBharatha, but still he was not having mental peace. It is surprising to see that the Sage Vyasa did not get peace even after composing Gita!! The reason is that the theoretical knowledge does not give any fruit unless it is practiced. Arjuna was not the best example of practice of Gita. Even on the eighteenth day, he was not getting down from the chariot in spite of the instruction from Lord Krishna. He was treating Krishna as a driver only and expected Krishna to get down first and then open the side door of the chariot.
by threatening the folk around with doctrines of God’s wrath, revenge and eternal damnation.

Do you believe Jesus was a normal man?
What is the truth? Is there such a thing? Such a thing as a truth that is real whether you believe in it or not. Is truth the absence of scerets, or the absence of lies? Can you only find the truth at the risk of losing everything you think is real? Is the truth complex; is it simple? Is truth easy to find, or is it hiding and/or being hiden under secrets and lies. Can you find truth by science? Find int by faith of religion? Find it by faith and understanding of humanity?
