Excellent Article. While reading I couldn’t help but reflect on my thoughts. In refer to 911, when I watched the smoke cloud the sky, I caressed my daughter in my arms as tight as I could. All I could think about is the effect that incident would have on this economy for many years to come. I keep asking my self why? And I could only conclude the “God was tired”. I hate to through the Bible at you but “Revelations” is unfolding itself everyday. Just like the restate market spiraled to a bubble, so has this world with corruption and sin. Where was it all heading? I think God has allowed such a devastation to occur to take us back to our roots or “back to basics”. I think this holds true with many things that get out of control in our lives. If we go back to backs and do it all over again, many times its better the second time around.

I have been Extremely inundated at work today, yet, when I read this, it evoked such strong thoughts & emotions in me that I had to make the time to comment, even if just for a few words.
Just today, it was announced that a 13% unemployment rate is now expected before things "get better"...
This while at the same time, when state and local govt's cant meet their budgets, they are hitting these same people who have been hardest hit for additional money/higher tolls, etc.
I think that the time is VERY FAST approaching where there is not any more room to take from the working people of this country, and a pending confrontation will soon take place between our government and its people. Hopefully, we will emerge a stronger country for it.

"Will we rediscover our compassion and share our remaining resources with others?"
I would hope so, I believe so, in fact I am already seeing this among my own immediate network of family and friends.

This article really makes you think. Somehow, when this woman writes (I've seen a few other articles of hers here), she really does make you stop and think about things. It was very well-written. I'm going to share this link with some other people.
